9,943-foot Tioga Pass (hwy 120), 9,623-foot Sonora Pass (hwy 108), and 8,314-foot Monitor Pass (hwy 89) are all currently closed in northern California due to snow.  The high country of California saw 12-24″ inches of snow in the past 24 hours and that was enough to close these mountain passes.  They’ve all been closed since yesterday morning.
