More big news out of Park City, UT following Vail Resort’s $50 million dollar plans to connect Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Resort. Deer Valley Resort has unveiled plans to build a gondola transporting people from the ski lifts at Deer Valley directly to Main St. in Park City center. Boyne (owners of Crystal Mountain, WA – Brighton, UT – Boyne, MI) tried to buy Solitude ski resort in September. The deal fell through in the eleventh hour when a finiancier pulled out last minute. Today, Deer Valley, UT has announced that they will purchase Solitude, UT. Deer Valley will begin operating Solitude on May 1st, 2015.
