Las Lenas Conditions Report: Riding the Famous “Torrecillas” Our reporters in Las Lenas, Argentina have been getting after it. On July 20th, 2014, they went after the famous zone of Torrecillas. It’s about a 2 hour hike and well worth it. The snow looks like it was smooth and OK but not perfect and that didn’t slow these guys down at all. Make sure to skip to 1:43 to watch Adria’s line. Hotham Backcountry: Razorback Things in Australia have been looking pretty good lately, after a bit of a late start, the mountains have been seeing some decent falls of snow. VIDEO: Powder Day TODAY at Beartooth Basin, MT Beartooth Basin summer only ski resort was right in the path of the storm that just rolled through Montana. Perfect. Some places in Montana were forecasted to get up to 20 inches of snow. Beartooth looks like they got at least 6 inches. This video show’s us 25 seconds of one run at Beartooth. Classic Squaw Valley Powder Day Today | Palisades Photo Tour: Today was a classic powder day at Squaw Valley USA. The line up for the Funitel was large. The rush into the Funitel building was chaotic. The cramming into the actual Funitel was sardine-like. Once freed from the heinous Funitel ride, things re-normalized. Official Squaw Valley Powder Weekend Video Report: Over the weekend, Squaw Valley got 10″ of new snow which was enough to get the Shirley Lake chairlift back open.
