Arapahoe Basin, CO opens for the season today: October 17th, 2014.

Arapahoe Basin ski resort in Colorado is Open for business today. They’re the first ski resort to open in North America for the 2014/15 winter season. Congrats, A-Basin. Their 10,800-foot base elevation always makes them one of the first to open. A-Basin’s CEO, Al, took a run yestereve to see how the run was skiing.
