Vermont to Be the First State to Ban PFAS Used in Ski Wax Vermont unanimously approved a bill on May 4th that bans perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) in fire extinguishing foam, food packaging, rugs and carpets, and ski wax.
