VIDEO: Throwing Road Gap Flips in Hawaii After a 35″ Dump Last Week

Last week got 35″ of snow. Skiers and snowboarders flocked to 13,800′ Mauna Kea and ripped it up. Some even threw flips off a road gap jump. Hawaii is the sh$%! Hawaii even has a ski club.  Here’s their trail map:

Hawaiian Hucking | Photo Tour:

The Big Island of Hawaii got about 8″ of snow last week. Skiers and snowboarders in the area made their way up onto 13,700-foot Mauna Kea and got after it. Some of the boys made a jump over the road and hit road gaps all day. These guys jumped over the road, over cars in the road and even over cops. A few of the boys sent flips and had some fun. This is kinda cool. This is kinda frustrating. While the West Coast flounders in ski area closing snowlessness, Hawaii is expecting 5-8″ of snow this week. Yes, people ski in Hawaii. The Big Island’s highest peak, Mauna Kea (translates to White Mountain), is the largest mountain in the world. Mauna Kea starts at -19,000-feet below sea level and rises to 13,796-feet above sea level giving it a vertical relief of about 33,000-feet – around 4,000-feet taler than Mt. Everest.
