Issued by NOAA yesterday at 4pm.

Tahoe is forecasted to get up to 12 inches of snow in 12 hours above 7,000 feet today.  Not bad.

This snow will fall on top of pretty meager snowfall amounts from yesterday.  The most any ski resort got was Sugar Bowl with 4” on the ground yesterday.

The snow today will be a huge boost for Tahoe skiers and riders as it’ll give a bit more hope for getting Tahoe ski resorts open by Thanksgiving.
