Yesterday marked the first snowfall of the 19/20 winter season for the Lake Tahoe area, as snow fell on State route 431 between North Lake Tahoe and Reno.

The upcoming days may bring snow to the upper elevations of the Sierra Nevada, as temperatures drop according to the NWS.
