Taos Ski Valley, “New Mexico’s favorite mountain resort,” is off to a great start this season. Known for their light powder, and authentic ski experience, Taos Ski Valley is expecting more snow this coming week.
With low temperatures and snow in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, Taos is forecasting a great season. Already at a 26″ base, this storm is expected to bring up to 6 more inches of fresh powder.
“We’re excited to announce that tomorrow Lift 2 will open along with Bambi, Bonanza, Jess’s and Porcupine. Right now the forecast for the weekend is calling for snow so keep those fingers crossed. We’re looking forward to a great weekend on the mountain.”
This is exciting news for the ski resort because of their low snow count last year. Many are eager to hit their world-class slopes and are excited about the coming storm.
