Crested Butte Mountain Resort is 100% open. Patrol dropped the rope on Teocalli 2 Bowl on Sundayโthe final piece of the resort’s terrain package. This is the second season in a row that CBMR has been able to open Teo 2 to the public, and just the fourth season in resort history.
“We are now Wall-to-Wall and Floor-to-Ceiling at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!” said Tara Schoedginer, vice president and general manager at CBMR. “It is awesome to see our guests enjoying the skiing and riding in Teo 2 for the second year in a row. Iโm incredibly grateful to patrol and all of our teams for their hard work and dedication all season long to get us to this point.”
Teo 2 can be accessed via the High Lift T-bar, and it requires skiers and riders to earn their turns: it is about a 20-to-30-minute hike to get back to the road to Paradise Bowl.
“Getting the mountain open Wall-to-Wall is one of the most important and exciting goals for the Crested Butte Ski Patrol every season,” said Adam Caira, senior manager of Crested Butte Ski Patrol. “We are thrilled to be able to open Teocalli II again this year for the second year in a row, and for only the fourth season in the history of CBMR! The Teocalli bowls are some very unique terrain; I hope you get the opportunity to get out and enjoy it!”
