Conditions Report
Conditions continue to be on and off for Australia. Storms come, then it gets wind packed, then it rains, then it freezes, then it’s foggy, then it’s sunny. It’s an interesting mix of bizarre conditions and almost pow.
New South Wales (Thredbo) resorts picked up about 15cms of new snow above mid-mountain. This new snow quickly got wind packed. They also got plenty of rain below mid-mountain and then it froze solid.
It’s been a crazy year in Australia this year, but it also seems like it’s always a bit bizarre in Australia.
This video shows some pretty fun skiing in some softish snow.
Sounds like there’s the chance for some bigger snowstorms Thursday – Friday. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
