The weekend’s highly-anticipated snowstorm has well and truly hit Thredbo Ski Resort, Australia, bringing 22cm of fresh snow in the last 24 hours with lots more in the forecast. Thredbo Resort has entered the eye of the snowstorm, experiencing non-stop snowfall all day today.

Guests awoke to 6cm of fresh snow this morning and the snow hasn’t stopped coming down since, delivering another 17cm by 2:00 p.m. The fresh snow total of the storm so far is 22cm and it isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Skiers and snowboarders enjoyed riding fresh tracks all day today as mother nature refreshed the snow by the time people got back up the chairlift.

The village is now covered in over 10cm of snow, creating a magical snow globe experience for all guests in resort.

The best news is, the storm certainly isn’t finished yet with experts saying that the snow is set to continue falling all the way through to Sunday evening, resulting in some exciting powder days ahead.
