Valle Nevado reported 60 cms (about 2 feet) last week with it clearing up on the 21st to reveal what you see in this video.
A good buddy was in Santiago, Chile and primed to ski on this day. Here is his brief report of how his day went:
“Mate, today was a f*&king debacle! Chains broke on the way up on our shitty rental car. Missed out on a blue bird powder day. Took 7 hours to get here from Santiago. Many others had the same problems. It was f*#ked!
