The video shows houses being swept into the ocean in Alta, Norway yesterday, June 3rd, 2020.

Jan Egil Bakkedal told the Associated Press that he filmed this landslide near Alta, Norway on June 3rd, 2020.

Jan reports that he ran for his life into the nearby hills.

One of the 8 houses that washed into the sea was his own.

Local police report that they landslide was between 2,100-2,600 feet wide and up to 130 feet high.

Police spokesman Torfinn Halvari said ano one was injured in the landslide.

One dog was swept out to sea but was able to swim back to land.
