Yep, A-Basin fired up their snow guns this week. A-Basin is always one of the first ski resorts to open in the USA each year if not the first. As soon as it gets cold enough, they’ll be ready.
“So… we gave the guns a little test yesterday. No, it’s not snowmaking weather yet (it’s been quite warm up here), but we momentarily turned the guns on to test the equipment and train our new snowmakers. We’ll wait until we have consistently cold temps to actually make snow.” – Arapahoe Basin ski area on September 23rd, 2015.
