Jon Rockwood is everyone it Tahoe’s favorite person.
He moved to Tahoe from legendary slopes of Arizona Snowbowl back in 1963.
Over the past decade, John has been refining his skills as a filmmaker and his latest work appears to be his masterpiece: “An Atmospheric River Runs Through It.”

They say… “Only a dang fool or a newcomer would try and predict the weather.” On the heels of the decent winter of 2016, what would 2017 bring? Predictions bounced around, almanacs were published, … but soon enough Mother Nature would confidently answer the question. 10 atmospheric rivers pounded Lake Tahoe dropping feet of snow, massive amounts of rain, and eventually brought some of the best skiing the JonBob crew has experienced. Follow an extremely talented group of backcountry skiers as they tackle local zones with exceptional conditions.
