Mt. Baker ski area closed last week due to a lack of snow. Then, the area got a snowstorm that wasn’t quite enough to get the ski resort open again, but enough to stoke out a few hard charging locals.
The boys from the Glacier Ski Shop got up to very near the Mt. Baker ski area on March 16th, 2015 and had a helluva day. Blue skies, perfect, stable snow, and fun terrain.
No matter where you are in the US of A, this video should make you a bit jealous. These guys had Baker all to themselves and they took advantage of it.
If you wait long enough winter will come. Got to experience a great day at mt. baker with no one around. Friends, powder and sunshine, it doesnt get much better then this. – Adam Roberts
