Pacific Northwest and Western Canada
The Pacific Northwest and parts of British Columbia are set to receive significant snowfall over the coming days. Whistler is already experiencing snow at higher elevations, with more expected.
- Whistler: Snow falling at The Roundhouse Lodge and on Blackcomb Mountain, with wet conditions at the base (2100 ft)
- Interior BC: Moderate to heavy snow accumulation from November 14-15, with another round of heavy snow on the afternoon of November 16-17
- Mount Baker, Mount Rainier, and Mount Bachelor: Potential for 6-10 inches of snow
Rocky Mountains and Interior West
The storm system will gradually move into the interior, affecting Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
- Tetons (Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Big Sky): 8-16 inches possible between November 15-22
- Wasatch Range (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton): 6-8 inches expected late Friday (Nov 15) into early Saturday (Nov 16)
- Colorado: Best chance for moderate snow on November 19-20, with a dry stretch beforehand
Sierra Nevada
The forecast for the Sierra Nevada region is relatively light compared to other areas:
- 2-4 inches expected between November 15-22
