After three intense years on the Freeride World Tour, Palisades Tahoe skier Ross Tester steps away from the competitive spotlight to rediscover his love for skiing in its purest form. Journeying from his current home in Salt Lake City, Utah, to his roots in Tahoe, California, Ross remembers the droughts of his childhood that taught him to embrace skiing no matter the conditions. No longer driven by medals or rankings, Ross embraces the unpredictability of nature, finding beauty in its imperfections and challenges as he learns to live in the now.
“When coming up with the idea for this project, I was unnecessarily tripping out about what to do with my winter. Here 4 now symbolizes embracing who you are as a person, where you are, and whatever conditions you are dealing with. Being here, for now, is a privilege in itself.
