[VIDEO] Huge Inbounds Avalanche at Austrian Ski Resort

This massive inbounds avalanche at St. Anton am Arlberg was caught on camera earlier this week. Thankfully nobody was injured.

The slide occurred in the ‘Kamikaze’ off-piste area, a 6,562-foot long route that offers breathtaking views of the village Fiss and the surrounding mountains. The route’s steepest passage has a gradient over 70%.

  1. chuckles67- This must be very embarrassing for you, but gradient and degrees are different. 70% gradient is about 35 degrees.
