Avalanche
This huge avalanche could have been a 200-year event. The only reason we feel comfortable saying this is because the trees that the avalanche mows are clearly big and old. Those trees were probably around 200 years old.
We watched this footage today with a group of skiers and riders and everyone of us was blown away. This was an extremely large and powerful avalanche. The way it cut down trees, buried houses, and strolled down the street is an avalanche behavior that none of us had seen or heard of before.
P.S. The language you’re hearing in this video is an Italian German. There aren’t many people who speak this dialect and it’s certainly strange and cool.
these types of avalanches occur over there as houses may be built at the bottom of an avalanche path
