I met a woman a few years ago who was caught in an Avalanche on Red Mt Pass 20 years
while driving a CO DOT snowplow. She was swept over the edge. They came and found her
but there were 20 broken bones and other injuries. Multiple surgeries and rehab took over 2
years. She was walking with a bad limp otherwise is in recovery now.
This pass is south of Telluride on the way between Ouray and Durango.
