Here’s a weekly snow forecast by meteorologist Chris Tomer, which covers the upcoming holiday weekend.
A strong jet stream will push heavy snow into Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.
I don’t see much snow for California.
The prime snow accumulation window is Sunday and Monday (Presidents Day).
The Tetons, Wasatch, and Central and Northern Mountains of Colorado can expect 1-2 feet of total accumulation.ย A few heavier pockets are likely.
So here’s the perfect powder-filled holiday weekend, according to Chris Tomer.ย And if you have the Ikon Pass (without blackouts), this looks like a pretty awesome weekend trip!
