Christmas in June for Mexico City? Hardly.

Mexico City was pummeled by an intense hailstorm on Sunday, June 12, causing chaos on the roads as a thick blanket of ice formed over the asphalt. Accuweather reports that several homes were damaged but that no one was injured.

The hailstorm reportedly caused the roof of a supermarket to collapse, according to the Mexico Daily Post

Meanwhile, Yellowstone National Park experienced historic flooding on Monday that destroyed roads, and bridges, and caused large landslides while much of the southwestern United States experiences intense drought and excessive heat.

What a week for weird weather!
