Palisades Tahoe in California received its first real dusting of snow on Tuesday night, leaving the resort blanketed in white.
With snowmaking beginning in a few weeks and opening day following soon after, we couldnโt be more stoked. Opening day is currently scheduled for November 22nd, but that could change depending on conditions. Last season the resort received its first snow on October 23nd, 2022, and opened on November 18th.
The resort has added five new snowcats for the 2023-24 winter season at a cost of over $2.5 million, giving them one of the largest and most technologically advanced snowcat fleets in North America.
