[VIDEO] Stan Rey Skis ‘D.O.A.’, His Favorite Couloir on Whistler Blackcomb, BC

Ah the Blackcomb backcountry! It is filled with amazing lines to ski with lots of them just a short walk away. Lets take D.O.A for example or for its real name Down Over and Around which is how you get there but some others may argue that it is called Dead On Arrival but they are wrong, either way I’m here to tell you it sucks and not to go. Ha but to be completely honest its the best bang for you buck ski line you can easily access from Blackcomb Glacier!

I had a blast going for one last ski tour in the alpine before the monsoon which is currently pouring down on us with Alexi Godbout and Kye Petersen! D.O.A is an awesome option to ski back into the resort after spending the day skiing the Blackcomb Backcountry or even just as a single hit mission like we did!

Remember this is in the backcountry even though you skied toured to it from the resort. The avalanche risk is real back here so if you do decide to venture out make sure you have the right tools, beacon, shovel, probe the training to go with it and to always check the avi forecast.
