If you think too much while riding chairlifts, you may start to wonder just how safe these things really are. ย Chairlifts are very safe, but things can go wrong from time to time. ย This season we’ve had some scary lift accidents including the lift rolling backwards for a minute at Sugarloaf in Maine last week.
This week, we’ve got a video of a Ukrainian chairlift getting hit by a tree. ย Scary, but nothing dangerous seems to come of it. ย The tree fortunately hits the side of the chairlift that has the empty chairs.
