Throughout the weekend and into Monday, 3 successive storms are expected to make their way through much of the west dropping powder all over. California is supposed to get the most snow out of these storms, the first of three dropped 30″ on Mammoth overnight. These storms are suspected to dissipate as they move across the west, but they are still forecasted to drop up to 1-2 FEET of snow on the Rockies. These storms are going to make for some epic powder days all the way into Tuesday. Tahoe resorts are a safe bet throughout the weekend, but Tuesday, you may want to look at Steamboat or even Park City. This weekend should be a great one, get out there and enjoy this incredible January.
