Arapahoe Basin’s COO, Alan Henceroth, basically just said they’ll be opening next week.
โWe are literally ready to open just about anytime. ย We had a fantastic week of snowmaking, and we are waiting for one or two more good, really cold nights and we will get this place open.” – Alan Henceroth, Arapahoe Basin COO, told 9 Newsย yesterday
The only problem right now is that a “good, really cold night” isn’t forecast in the next 4 nights. ย Fingers crossed for some really cold night next week.
We might be skiing at riding at Arapahoe Basin very very soon. ย
Next week?
Hope so!
Loveland ski area, right across the street from Arapahoe Basin also has a lot of snow made and their hoping to open next week as well.
Arapahoe Basin and Loveland both opened last year on October 29th, 2015.
