Wasatch Dispatch: March Comes Rolling Deep!!

BOOYA!!

Deep Utah powder has covered everything! It just keeps snowing here in the Wasatch Mountains.

Another right-side up storm: a foot of heavy snow to smooth the tracks, topped off by two feet of perfect blower powder.

The best thing to do, so they say, is to go ski it.

Mr. Black getting in on the goods.

With a couple of options in mind, we figured today was a good day to explore.

There are always those lines that you think “man, that has to be good”. So we went to check it out.

Our lines from the day. SO FUN!!

Right from the top, each of our lines was just perfect.

Deep in the trees and deeper in the open.

Mouths left agape and full of snow.

Camera man getting his own face shots.

After three superb runs, Mr. Black had to head in, but I had one more in mind.

There was one nicely filled-in rocky chute that just had to be skied.

Steep, deep and committing, I had an entrance air before 600 feet of perfect snow in the middle of awesome rock pillars finally ending in a big dogleg.

HELL YEAH!!! So good!

Ski days just don’t get any better than this. Certainly one for the books.

One happy monkey!!
