The McConkey Movie is going to be a eye opener for all of us when it comes out Fall 2013.
4 years ago today, we lost Shane McConkey. He was the most influential skier of the modern era. He made skiing fun, goofy, innovative, and inspiring again. He helped skiing come back to the forefront by showing people not only what can be done on skis, but how much fun can be had on skis.
Today is a good day to think about Shane and remember what he he did for skiing.
We thank Shane for our fat skis, our rockered skis, GNAR, ski-BASE jumping, and most importantly: Saucer Boy.
