Every day is a powder day in Whistler Blackcomb this week.

With over seven metres (23 feet) of snow this season, and five feet, or nearly two metres, of new snow this week, it couldn’t get any better than this!

Expect a slight accumulation on today’s powder clouds on Saturday, then prepare for two more days of at least one foot of accumulation on Sunday and Monday.

With all 8171 acres open at the moment, and 23 lifts open, this is the moment we have all been waiting for…

  1. I will say this week has been some of the best riding i’ve had in 4 years at WB. The Sunday/Monday storm worries me a bit, but it looks like the alpine as a whole will see strictly snow … so probably we’ll be fine. Probably. In any case, the snow depth is kinda ridiculous for this time of year. Turning into that once in a decade kinda stuff. Hopefully that’s how it goes the rest of the way.
