Now open is one of Whistler Mountain Bike Parks’ newest trails: Top Of The World. Opened in 2012, the trail was the first lift accessible alpine bike trails in North America. This past weekend, the world famous trail opened again for the 2013 mountain bike season.
[We are] two weeks ahead of schedule from last year and a whole lot more single track than we had when we opened it. ย ย

At the top of the Peak Chair on Whistler mountain at 7000 starts this epic trail which when linked up with the rest of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park trails provides 5000 feet of vertical decent. With a more technical trail riding style, the double black trail has more of an all mountain riding feel but provides amazing veiws.
To ride the trail, bike park visitors can add an additional Peak Ride pass for $16 (or $12 if booked 7 days in advance) or can purchase a single upload gondola ride and Peak Chair ride to get one long lap for $31 (but does not permit any further bike park use). Riders are permitted one upload on the Peak Chair per pass and there is a daily capacity of 150 riders.
If you’re in Whistler on a riding vacation, this once-in-a-lifetime experience is an absolute must to truly see what Whistler and British Columbia have to offer.
Who needs biking. I think skiing is still open at Blackcomb.
Whis steps it up again.
