Winter Park Resort, Colorado, has joined the list of ski resorts opening this weekend after an impressive snowstorm dumped nearly a foot of snow on the resort.
The resort plans to open the Gemini Express, Arrow, Endeavour, Meteor, and Spirit. Come to the Gemini Express for the seasonal banner break at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Operations plans to open Parkway, Porcupine, Village Way, and Sorenson Park for skiing and riding, totaling 30 skiable acres to start the season, double what was open on the first day last year. The Balcony House ticket window will be open to print season passes and daily lift tickets.
Derailer, Docโs, Moffat Market, Sundog, Waffle Cabin, Pizza Pedalโr, Trailโs End, Coffee & Tea, and Starbucks will be open to keep visitors fueled, warm, and happy. Ski and snowboard rentals will be available out of West Portal Rentals.ย Zero Creek, Outfitters, Burton, James & Parryโs, and The North Face will also be open.
