The body of a missing skier was found at 7:45 pm last night skier after an incident reported Saturday at Winter Park Resort in Colorado.
According to a statement from the resort, the skier was reported missing around 4:45 Saturday afternoon.
Ski Patrol implemented search procedures immediately and the skier was found three hours later in the trees next to White Rabbit Trail, an intermediate blue run at Winter Park.
The skier was taken to the Denver Health Clinic at the base of the resort and died before 8:30 pm. The skier’s name has not been released.
Winter Park said its staff and patrol express their condolences to friends and family of the skier.
