Winter Storm Warning Issued For MN | Up To 10″ of Snow Is Expected To Fall Today – Friday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Northern Minnesota. It is in effect from 10am cst this morning until 1am cst Friday morning. A cold front is expected to move through, which will turn rain to snow as the day progresses.

Up to 10″ of snow is expected to fall in MN Today – Friday Morning.

Snow is expected to fall all over the state, but the highest snowfall totals are expected to be around Roseau, MN and the Northwest Angle (The Northernmost Point In The Continental US).

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 1 AM
CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on difficult
 travel conditions, including during the evening commute. Total
 snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with localized amounts up
 to 10 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Roseau, Lake Of The Woods, East Marshall and North
 Beltrami County.

* WHEN...10 AM today to 1 AM Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will
 cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
