NOAA has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for elevations above 6,000 feet in the Lake Tahoe region. 2-5” of snow is expected in the mountains above the lake beginning tomorrow morning.
The Winter Weather Advisory extends from north of Lake Tahoe all the way down to the southern tip of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It also includes the White Mountains east of Mammoth Lakes, CA. Further south in the Sierra, 3-6 inches of new snow is expected.
