The long wait is over. Ski season is finally here. Wolf Creek Ski Area, Colorado, opened for the 2024-25 season yesterday after a storm dumped 26″ of fresh snow on the area, giving it an 18″ base.
The first major resort in North America to open, Wolf Creek will remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Bonanza, Treasure, and Nova Lifts operated all day, giving access to 30% of the mountain. The Magic Carpet opened for the Wolf Pup & Wolf Rider Programs.
