The new ski area in Utah that is opening for the first time this winter season has announced their opening date. They will be opening on Monday December 21st, 2015.
Cherry Peak has been busy over the last few days. They have been grooming their trails, and they have also been blowing snow. Today they announced that their season opening will happen on December 21st. Cherry Peak failed to open last season due to a poor snow year.
Cherry Peak will be open Monday-Saturday(closed Sundays?) from 9:00am-4:00pm for day skiing and 5:00pm-9:00pm for night skiing. That’s right, night skiing every night! Adult day tickets are $49.00 per day. Season Passes can be bought as night ski only passes, day ski only passes, or both day and night ski passes. There are some things with this newly opening ski area that seem unusual compared to other ski areas. Let’s see how it goes down there this season.
