An atomospheric river event has been hammering the Pacific Northwest the past few days and snow levels finally dropped today to ski resort level.
Mt. Baker has already gotten 5″ of new snow.
“Oh what a beautiful sight!!!ย This morning we woke up to about 5 inches of new snow at Heather Meadows this and it’s still dumping snow.ย Forecasts are calling for a total of around 10 inches by this evening – yippee!!” – Mt. Baker today
We’ve got great photos of new snow at Whistler, Stevens Pass, Crystal Mountain, Mt. Baker, Alpental, Mt. Hood, & Mt. Bachelor.
This storm has now mostly passed and there isn’t any significant snow in the forecast in the PNW this week.
