This says that the season has been extended until Sept. 15%.

Las Lenas was going to close on September 8th due to a major lack of snow.  They officially announced it, it was all over their website, and then it snowed.

It snowed enough to change their minds and extend the season until September 15th, which is great.  Usually, Las Lenas is open until October 15th, so this is still an extremely early closing.  It’s been a rough year at Las Lenas.

Yesterday and the day before Lenas got a storm that dropped 10 inches at the base area and 17 inches at the top of the mountain.  It was just enough to keep them open another week.

We’ve got a team at Las Lenas and they’ll be getting us a report this week about the conditions and how the skiing is up high.  We’ve got a feeling that once it clears, it’s going to be epic at Las Lenas.

Oh, and the forecast looks damn good.
