Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Winter Park were the only open ski areas in Colorado on Monday for the 2022-23 season, but now that total will nearly double as two more ski areas join the list of open mountains by the coming weekend.

Loveland Ski Area and Wolf Creek have announced their opening dates for later this week.

Loveland will open this Thursday, Nov. 3, and Wolf Creek will open on Friday, Nov. 4.

Wolf Creek shared on its website:

“The snow storm of October 26th and 27th dropped an additional 8 inches to last Sunday’s 6 inches of wet snow. This gives Wolf Creek a natural settled base of 10 inches at midway. Wolf Creek will open Friday, November 4th through Sunday, November 6th with the beginner lifts Nova and Lynx. The beginner trails Foxy, Nova and Susan’s will be available for skiers and boarders.”

With more snow forecast to hit later this week, Colorado resorts will continue to open one by one.
