Now we are getting down to the specialists. Â Timberline is located on Mt. Hood, Oregon and they have large glaciers that provide skiing from 10 months a year. Â Beartooth Basin is a summer ONLY ski resort in Montana/Wyoming that is open from late May until mid July each year. Â These two spots specialize and dominate summer skiing in North America.
Whistler will hop back on the list this weekend with skiing & riding on the Horstman Glacier of Blackcomb. Â Whistler is yet another summer specialist.
The normal ski resorts are gone until Fall.  The Jackson Hole & Snowbird Trams are still open and they do allow skiing and riding from the tram.  It’s more of a backcountry experience than a ski resort, but it’s still lift access:
