2016/17 Utah Ski Resort Opening Dates

Winter struck Utah early this year with some resorts receiving snow as early as September 14th! Current conditions are not holding any blankets of white but some chance for snow returns to the forecast later this week. With a little luck and perseverance the ski season will be well on its way and resorts are arranging their opening dates in anticipation.

  • Alta- Nov. 18, 2016
  • Snowbird- Nov. 18, 2016
  • Park City- Nov. 18, 2016
  • Brian Head- Nov. 18, 2016
  • Solitude- Nov. 18, 2016
  • Snowbasin- Nov. 25, 2016
  • Deer Valley- Dec. 3, 2016
  • Sundance- Dec. 9, 2016
  • Powder Mountain- Dec. 12, 2016
  • Nordic Valley- Dec. 16, 2016
  • Beaver Mountain- Dec. 19, 2016
  • Eagle Point- Dec. 19, 2016
  • Cherry Peak- TBD

With some resort opening dates barely a month out, Utah sure could use whatever snow comes there way.
