Which ski resort will open first in the USA this year?  Last year, it was Arapahoe Basin on October 13th, 2014.  A-Basin is looking good again this year for a mid October opening.

It was a great night. The snowmakers were very successful. We have lots and lots of snow. I walked High Noon early this morning and there was good coverage from top to bottom. The stick guns we have been experimenting with are doing well. It just warmed up enough that we have to shut down for a few hours, but tonight is expected to be cold again.
