On Wednesday, Erica, Greggy, Sasha, and I took the 6-mile hike to gawk at Cerro Torre in El Chalten, Argentina.
The plan was for Erica and I to get married there at Laguna Torre.
Greggy was the officiate, and Sasha was the witness and ring bearer.
Cerro Torre (10,262′) is one of the mountains of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in South America. It is located in Argentina and Chile, west of Fitz Roy (also known as Cerro Chaltén). The peak is the highest of a four mountain chain: the other peaks are Torre Egger (2,685 m (8,809 ft)), Punta Herron, and Cerro Standhardt. The top of the mountain often has a mushroom of rime ice, formed by the constant strong winds, increasing the difficulty of reaching the actual summit. – Wikipedia

We performed our gratitude ceremony in front of the towers.
Our relationship is very unique, like the towers.
After exchanging rings and finalizing the ceremony, we stayed a while and imbibbed the impressive scenery.
The hike home saw improving weather and easy strolling.
Our wedding dinner was at my favorite restaurant here, La Tapera.
Chipo, the owner, is a genius, and every dish is exquisite, delicate, and very affordable.
A new chapter has begun, and celebrating in this place with these people made the experience transformative.
