It’s mind-altering that it’s June 3rd and 5 ski resorts are still open in North America.  Mammoth added an extra week last week and now Arapahoe Basin has added an extra weekend.

The weirdest part about this summer is that it keeps snowing.  A-Basin got 6 inches last week and Beartooth Basin got so much snow last week they couldn’t get the road open for the weekend.  They got about 2 feet of snow!  Thankfully, Beartooth is back to normal operations today.

– Crystal Mountain, WA = June 16th (weekends only)

Valle Nevado, Chile opens up this weekend.  This means that if you wanted to, you could literally never stop skiing.  You could ski everyday this week at ski resorts in North America, hop on a plane, and start skiing everyday in South America without missing a day.  Scary and fun to think about…and consider.

  1. Timberline Zig Zag snow field was awesome this weekend; perfect corn most of the day. Some of the Wendell’s kids were going HUGE on the 1/2 pipe and jumps.
