Right now, there are 7 ski resorts still open for skiing and riding. By Saturday, there will be two more open bringing the total to 9. It’s not often that the amount of ski areas open goes up this time of year. But this is the weekend that Beartooth Basin, MT/WY opens for the summer. Yep, a summer only ski resort. Aspen, CO is reopening this weekend for one day, Saturday.
It’s a special weekend when it’s Memorial Day, the very end of May, and there are 0 ski resorts still open in North America. Get out there and enjoy it.
