9,943′ Tioga Pass, CA Will CLOSE Today at 5pm Due to Snow

9,943′ Tioga Pass in Yosemite, CA will temporarily close today at 5pm due to the incoming snowstorm.

Tioga Pass will remain closed indefinitely.

“The Tioga Road (the continuation of Highway 120 through the park) is temporary closed due to snow. The Glacier Point Road will temporary close by 5 pm on Saturday, October 28, as the snow level is forecast to lower. (Photo is from today at Tioga Pass.)” – Yosemite National Park, yesterday

NOAA has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that is forecasting 6-17″ of snow is forecast for Tioga Pass this weekend.
