At Brian Head Resort you’ll find great Utah snow, less crowds, dark skies, and natural beauty. As southern Utah’s premier ski resort, Brian Head Resort offers 650 acres of skiable terrain, 71 trails, 8 lifts, and an average annual snowfall of 360 inches. With a vertical drop of 1,320 feet, there is something for all skill levels, plus you’ll pay a lot less. For example: an adult lift-ticket, rentals and 2.5 hour group lesson will set you back about $150 in April. Adult lift tickets for March and April can be purchased in advance for about $60, often less and kids 12 and under ski for free.

In March, you can also enjoy off-season access to nearby attractions like Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Brian Head is about one hour from Bryce Canyon National Park and one and a half hours from Zion National Park, making it easy to add value to the trip without breaking the bank.

If you don’t want to ski or board, you can check out a free guided snowshoe tour or dark sky tour at Cedar Breaks National Monument. Ranger Guided Snowshoe Tours provide a beginner-friendly way to explore and connect with nature in quiet winter solitude, Friday through Sunday throughout February and March 2024. Dark Sky Tours are also provided on select Saturdays in March.
